Austin's visit with Santa

Here's Austin with Santa. It's hard to believe this is his 3rd Christmas.

He didn't cry this year, but he was definitely a little leery of Santa. I told him that Santa was handing out candy canes and he said "Oh, candy canes? Okay."

Maxx was the official door bell ringer/door knocker - and if you don't answer fast he's just going to keep ringing the door bell and knocking until you answer.

And if you still don't answer, he's just going to let himself in.

Austin got pretty excited when he realized this lady was giving out suckers!

We got asked if they were rappers a couple times- guess you gotta be careful with painting your kids face with bronzer...

"No, they're guidos. Dressing them up as black people? That would be racist."

Mommy Paint

Austin and I were sitting at the kitchen table eating lunch today. He goes "Mommy paint table?" I said, "Yeah, I painted the table. And I painted the cabinets and the walls." He points at the wall beside him "Mommy paint that wall?" I said "Yeah." Then he pointed at the ceiling, "Mommy paint sky?" "No, I didn't paint the ceiling."

Now he's trying to put himself into a shoebox. He said "Help me, Mommy." Such a goofball.

Pumpkin Patch Day

Austin's pre-school had their Pumpkin Patch Day yesterday. The kids dressed up and had a parade for the parents. As you can tell from the pictures, the kids were extremely thrilled to be wearing costumes. Austin had a good time, though. He got to pick a pumpkin out of the pumpkin patch and go for a hay ride.
